Dartington Hall - Christmas Grotto

I had the big job of helping helping the big man in red, Father Christmas! I was told he was visiting the Hall for the month of December and needed a magical space to be his home.

I took an old sad office and converted it into Santa’s post room. I filled the room with letters, lists and parcels. With letters shooting out the chimney, hanging from the ceiling and filling the sorting boxes. This project was all about laying magic, from hand painted mail furniture to all the fun little details… it was a joy to build and definitely a reminder that the Christmas magic is real.
